Tried to cancel my membership by going in person to the gym. The front desk employee stated he could not do it and put my name on a word doc. I received a missed call/ voicemail from the manager Elena that she received my cancellation request and when my last billed date would be and that there would be a form being sent to me via email. I never got the email. After being charge for a couple more months, I called to confirm my cancellation. Elena, very aggressive from the start, stated that I should pick up the phone when she calls and she's too busy to be following up with every one who does not answer. She told me that the cancellation form was in my spam folder, which it was not and then stated this is not her fault and she doesn't know what I want from her. I have never received such bad service before in my life. I was shocked by the attitude I got right away. If she handled this professionally, I would have easily taken the financial loss and just be done with this, but I was so appalled by her attitude towards me that I am writing this Google review.

Gym has everything you could possibly need to work out. The incline/flat benches and majority of the barbells are long overdue to to be replaced. Lots of new members lately. Very crowded as expected during evening hours. Bathroom/locker room area has definitely seen better days.Desperate need of cleaning, updates and repairs. Location is convenient with plenty of parking.

I’ve been going to this QAC (formerly Northeast Health) for the last three years, and overall my experience has been solid. The staff is friendly, there’s a variety of different types of equipment, and with the recent increased operating hours it’s easy to fit a workout in during the week and on the weekends. Depending on when you go (I try to avoid the post-work rush), you rarely have to wait for the machines. I see some of the negative reviews about outdated equipment and that the ownership doesn’t seem to care, but in the last year I’ve witnessed a big shift; they do take feedback to heart. They changed the interior paint color, they’ve installed more modern equipment (the hip thrust machine was a nice add!), and they’re doing more to show appreciation for their members. For the price I’m not expecting Equinox-level experience, but I think the management does care and is actively trying to improve the gym as much as they can. Sometimes the water filter doesn’t get replaced for a while but that’s my only criticism.

Quincy Athletic Club has some of the best membership deals around, especially for everything you get. The pricing is fair, and they actually work with you to find something that fits your budget instead of pushing you into something you don’t need. The staff is what really makes the difference. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They take the time to answer questions and make you feel comfortable whether you’re brand new to the gym or have been working out for years. It’s a clean, well-run club with a positive atmosphere. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re looking for a gym that offers great value and great people.

I’ve been going to this gym for three years, and I keep coming back because it’s the only gym in the area that offers Les Mills classes. The instructors are fantastic—they genuinely make an effort to encourage everyone, regardless of age or ability, and they take the time to learn everyone’s names, which makes the atmosphere feel really welcoming. I love that there is a class offered every day and have lost weight and gained muscle thanks to that. However, the gym’s maintenance leaves a lot to be desired. As shown in the photos, the class space is not well maintained—the air vents are covered in dust, the walls are cracking with plaster falling out, and the room is never cleaned so there’s dust everywhere. It’s gotten to the point that I get dust in my eyes and throat while working out. The equipment used for the classes, such as the barbells, have been falling apart since I joined and we have to share equipment to get through classes sometimes which is a little pathetic. Overall, while the classes and instructors are excellent, the lack of facility maintenance and cleanliness is really disappointing. I’m not sure why the business has chosen to ignore a whole set of clients who o
